Andrew slowly blinked open his eyes as he felt the car stop at the edge of the long highway. Sunlight filtered through the windows. He guessed it was around the middle of the day.
"Why are we stopping?" he groaned. He'd been asleep since a little after they'd left Colorado the night before.

One of the cops slowly pulled out handcuffs, still aiming his gun at Andrew with his other hand to protect himself. "Let's just make this easy," he said to Andrew.
